So today we started our rehearsals for Broadway After Dark! I really enjoy doing this show because it gives performers a chance to showcase themselves and do the songs they always wanted to do or try a new song that they never sang before. It's a bunch of my friends from Jacksonville and New Bern. Yes, I said ME! I don't do much performing these days. I haven't performed professionally (meaniing gotten a check for it) in over 5 years. I have been directing during that time. I guess I better dust off the old vocal chords...
